The shops history

Hans Langhorst senior started out 1931 by selling model planes and ships.

After more than three decades in the business his son Peter Langhorst came to be interested in the still growing firm and he has had the leading role for almost 40 years.

Today, his grandson Hans Langhorst has taken over the business, still with Peter and his mother Maj by his side.

-In 2006 we decided that our shop had grown out of its costume at Gumshornsgatan on Östermalm in Stockholm. So we moved to a conciderably larger premises at Grevgatan 69.

The shop today

We are specialized in true to scale models and experts at Märklin model railroads, steam engines and ship models.

To that we proudly can add the best assortment in Sweden of model figures from PREISER, the best manufacturer of figures in different scales between 1:500-1:22,5.
